Mr
Ralph Saubern is the General Manager, ACER Press, the publishing arm of the Australian
Council for Educational Research.
ACER Press publishes and distributes a range of high quality, evidence-based books,
programs and assessment instruments in the areas of education, special needs, psychology
and human resources. ACER Press has offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.
Mr Saubern began his career as a teacher of English to speakers of other languages,
where his interest in computers and education led him into the area of new learning
technologies. Before coming to ACER, he managed an independent educational publisher,
where he produced multimedia CD-ROMs and developed educational resource websites.
