Ms Dara Searle

Ms Dara Searle is a Research Fellow in the Assessment and Reporting research program at the Australian Council for Educational Research
Ms Searle has worked on a range of projects, including the Longitudinal Surveys of Australian Youth, which provides information about young Australians in education, training and employment, the Literacy Advance Research Project, which examines the literacy development of students and Project Good Start, a national initiative exploring the numeracy development of students in the transition from pre-school to primary school.
Through her work on these projects, Ms Searle has refined her research skills, including literature search and review. She is proficient in the use of a number of statistical software packages and quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques, including multi-level analysis.
Ms Searle has explored her particular interest in the potential link between neuropsychology and education through her development of the ACER's website regarding brain research and learning.
Ms Searle joined ACER in January 2004 as a Research Officer.
