Special Tertiary Admissions Test
Further Information
Candidates wishing to sit STAT within Australia should contact the Tertiary Admissions Centre in their state for test dates, venue locations and registration.
The Tertiary Admissions Centres in Queensland, Victoria and South Australia, the Universities Admissions Centre (New South Wales and ACT) and the Tertiary Institutions Service Centre in Western Australia currently arrange the administration of STAT to large numbers of candidates and provide these results to their member institutions.
Institutions wishing to administer the STAT to special category applicants may find it convenient to contact the Tertiary Admissions Centre in their state to arrange supervision. The Tertiary Admissions Centres also make provisions for interstate candidates to register for STAT. Tasmanian applicants to mainland universities should contact VTAC.
In some cases, individual institutions administer STAT tests.
