Overseas and Special Sittings of STAT
The STAT Project Officer at the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) co-ordinates registrations and test centres for candidates who wish to sit for STAT whilst overseas.
Test Dates and Test Centre Locations
STAT test sittings are offered on a range of dates between May and November, dates may vary slightly between test centres. The actual dates available are listed in the table of test locations below.

The Costs Associated With Overseas and Special Sittings Of STAT:
Registration fees payable to ACER before arrangements are made to sit the test:
STAT Multiple Choice (Special Sittings-within Australia): AUD$125.00
STAT Multiple Choice (Overseas Sittings): AUD$225.00
STAT Written English (Special and Overseas Sittings): AUD$65.00
Test Centre Fees (Special and Overseas Sittings): This fee varies from centre to centre and are included in the table of test locations above.
Deadlines
Applications close three calendar weeks before each test. For example, if the test date is Thursday 24th April, then the online registration system will remove that test date from the system at 5pm Australian Eastern Standard Time on Thursday 3rd April.
If you choose to pay by bank draft/cheque, then the draft must be received either at the test centre or by the ACER office in Australia at the close of registrations three weeks before the test date. For example, if the test date is Thursday 24th April, then the draft/cheque must be received by 5pm on Thursday 3rd April. There will be no exceptions.
