Special Tertiary Admissions Test
Online Registration
The administration for STAT and ALSET (also known as DULSAT) is managed through the same team at ACER, and test sittings are run in conjunction with each other, so these registration pages have been titled the STAT/ALSET Registration System. You will be applying for either STAT or ALSET.
Candidates should note that all correspondence will be conducted via email . It is essential that candidates can provide and have access to a functional email address.
Preparation Materials
STAT preparation materials are sent to overseas candidates by airmail, which may take up to 14 days. We recommend that only in circumstances where applications are lodged with limited time prior to the test date, or if local postal services are unreliable, that candidates nominate to have their study materials sent by courier. Please note that an additional fee applies to candidates who request the use of a courier.
The preparation materials for special sittings in Melbourne are sent by ordinary mail. Candidates may choose to pay extra for Express Post delivery.

STAT Results
ACER sends your results directly to the Tertiary Admissions Centre/s nominated on your application form within five days of the answer sheet arriving at ACER. ACER does not release results directly to candidates, instead, they are sent out by the Tertiary Institutions Service Centre (TISC) 5 - 6 weeks after the test. Results are sent to your permanent home address (preferably an Australian address) rather than to your travelling address.
