Australian Cooperative Entry Program (ACEP)

Parents and candidates are urged to think very carefully before registering for a scholarship at any school.

Please note: Refunds are awarded on a case-by-case basis and only under the most exceptional of circumstances. The following are NOT the basis for a refund:

• A change of mind about a school registered for
• Applying for an incorrect school
• Change of address

A medical certificate must accompany refund requests based on medical grounds.

Online Registration Refunds

Only under the most exceptional circumstances will a refund of the registration fee be considered

• Requests for refunds should be sent via email to onlinehelp@acer.edu.au. The email should include the reason(s) for seeking the refund.
• Refunds received prior to the closing date, will be refunded in full to the credit card that paid for the registration.
• Should the refund be required to be paid as a cheque or paid to another credit card, it will be treated as a pen and paper refund (see below).
• Refunds received after the closing date for registrations, will be treated as a pen and paper refund (see below).

Pen and Paper Registration Refunds

Only under the most exceptional circumstances will a refund of the registration fee be considered .

• Requests for refunds must be received by the schools no later than one week after the test date
• Parents must send a letter requesting the refund and stating the reason(s) for the refund to the school
• The school will forward a copy to ACER
• If ACER and the school agree to the refund, a cheque for ACER's portion will be forwarded to the school. 
• The school will draw a cheque including the school's component of the refund

If a refund is awarded a deduction will be made for administrative and clerical processing.

Sample Question Refunds

Parents and candidates are urged to think very carefully before purchasing Sample Collections of Questions.

Refunds for printed Sample Collections of Questions will only be approved if received prior to despatch.

No refunds for Online Sample Questions are available.
