Australian Law Schools Entrance Test (ALSET)

ALSET is the Australian Law Schools Entrance Test which is used by a number of Law Schools at Australian tertiary institutions as part of their admissions procedures.

Candidates sitting the test for entrance to Deakin University will find that the test is referred to as DULSAT (Deakin University Law School Admissions Test).

ALSET is designed to provide an opportunity for those candidates who have not completed a recent or standard university entrance qualification to demonstrate an ability to cope with tertiary studies in Law. ALSET thus provides a degree of access to, and equity for, places in Law Schools for a significant group of special category applicants.
