Compass can be delivered through standard web browsers in any setting.
Clients create records online for test takers (this includes the nomination of unique usernames and passwords for each test taker)
Once test takers have been allocated a username and password, the test can be completed at any time.
There is no set time limit for test completion however as a guide, each test takes roughly 30-35 minutes to complete (i.e. one hour for a combined literacy and numeracy assessment).
Features include:
A USB is loaded with the Compass assessment and the accounts for each test taker. Once the USB is “booted” and the test is loaded, test takers sit the test as with the online option. Upon test completion, results can be securely uploaded from the USB to the ACER system for scoring.
Offline USB delivery offers some unique benefits including the ability to conduct the assessment under strict security protocols. This option is also useful for remote locations or where internet connectively may be an issue.
All Compass users are provided with helpdesk support during standard business hours (9am – 5pm AEST).
Clients have access their own online account allowing them to purchase, assign and manage testing at their own pace.
Detailed Compass test administration manuals are provided at no extra cost. These provide all of the information required to run the assessment.
Onsite or remote training is also available by consultation. See Purchase and Pricing for more information
