Cooperative Scholarship Testing Program (CSTP)

2012 Test Date

Saturday 25 February 2012

The Cooperative Scholarship Testing Program (CSTP) is an annual program of scholarship testing used by approximately 150 independent schools across Australia to select academically gifted students for the award of a scholarship. The test is held on one day, and is a cooperative test, meaning that candidates can register with more than one CSTP school, but they sit the test once only. A candidate's results are passed onto all the schools a candidate has registered with.

In the case of multiple registrations, candidates list the schools in order of preference. They sit the test on the scheduled date and the results are then reported to each school for which they have registered. Candidates should register directly with schools, NOT ACER.

ACER produces the tests, supplies them to schools, marks the test papers and reports the results to schools. Individual schools offer a scholarship based on their registered candidate list.

ACER does NOT report scholarship results directly to candidates.
