2012 Cooperative Scholarship Testing Program (CSTP) Results
Results are provided to schools in group and individual report formats.
An overall score as well as performance on each sub-test – Written Expression, Humanities and Mathematics (Mathematics and Science for Levels 2 and 3) is provided for each candidate. See Test Structure for details of each of the tests.
The Individual Report shows the candidate's performance in the three test areas. A student's results are reported against the entire group of students who sat for the CSTP in 2012. The report includes:
- A graphical display of the candidate’s performance on the Humanities Comprehension and Interpretation sub-test and the Mathematics (Level 1) or Mathematics/Science (Levels 2 and 3) sub-test
- A report which provides information on the candidate’s performance on each of the sub-tests and an overall ranking based on a comparison with all candidates at the same level of testing across Australia
Note that the information contained in the report is simply a measure of academic ability as measured by the CSTP. The CSTP test population consists of a small group of academically able students sitting for scholarships, and performance is reported only in comparison to this group. This allows schools to use candidate performance information to assist in awarding of scholarships.
Most schools distribute reports to candidates. If you have not received your report by 11th May, you should first contact the school of your first preference.
If the school cannot provide your child's report, please complete Individual Candidate Report Purchase Form 2012, ignoring the payment section, and email to ACER so that we can post/email your child's report to you. Enquiries can be emailed to scholarships@acer.edu.au
