eWrite is an online writing assessment for students in Years 5 to 8 (ages 10-13).
eWrite features advanced analysis techniques that provide instant diagnostic feedback on students' skills across a range of writing genres including:
- Narrative
- Descriptive
- Report
- Persuasive writing
Students interact directly with the online assessment, typing into the secure system. eWrite then produces a detailed report, pinpointing individual students' writing strengths and weaknesses.
eWrite is delivered entirely online. No new software needs to be installed on the school or students' computers.
eWrite uses curriculum-aligned assessment criteria and a common reporting scale for all writing assessments.
Student results can be mapped across genre and year level and student achievement can be monitored over time.
eWrite is flexible. Schools and teachers have the freedom to choose from multiple tasks, selecting those most suited to their school's curriculum and student assessment needs.
eWrite prompts are broad and engaging, allowing students maximum choice to develop their own creative and original responses.
