International Schools' Assessment (ISA)

Administration Handbooks

Copies of the ISA 2011–12 Administration Handbooks and the 2011–12 School Coordinator's Handbook are included in each school's courier shipment of testing materials.

They are also available electronically to ISA 2011–12 participating schools ONLY upon request during the online confirmation of registration process.

Timing

The above handbooks detail timing for each part of the ISA by grade level. Schools will need to set aside two mornings for the assessments during the testing period. Any two mornings may be chosen, but note that for reasons of test security, the assessments must be administered at the same time to all students within the school who are taking the ISA, regardless of Grade level.

The tests should be administered in the morning, while students are fresh. It is expected that students will have a 15 to 30 minute break between each of the three testing sessions on the first morning, and one 15 to 30 minute break between the two testing sessions on the second morning.
