This online registration is only for candidates who wish to sit for STAT overseas. STAT sittings overseas commence in May 2013.

For STAT sittings in Australia, please go to the 'Sitting STAT in Australia' page of this website. No refunds will be given for candidates who register here in error.

The administration for overseas sittings of STAT and ALSET is managed through the same team at ACER, and test sittings are run in conjunction with each other, so these registration pages have been titled the STAT/ALSET Registration System. You will be applying for either STAT or ALSET.

Candidates should note that all correspondence will be conducted via email . It is ESSENTIAL that candidates can provide and have access to a functional email address. Due to the email filtering methods of hotmail and yahoo accounts, email addresses other than @hotmail or @yahoo are preferred. If you must use an @hotmail or @yahoo email account, please add stat@acer.edu.au to your address book to ensure any correspondence sent to you from this office is received.

You should expect to receive 2 emails once you have registered.
If you do not receive a Receipt email and a Confirmation email within 24 hours of registering, please contact the STAT Office immediately.

Preparation Materials for Candidates

Candidates should download a copy of the STAT Candidate Information Booklet once they have completed their registration.

The STAT Sample Collection of Questions is also available for purchase at the time of registration or through this website. This booklet is sent to overseas candidates by airmail, which may take up to 14 days. If the local postal services are unreliable we recommend that candidates request their STAT Sample Collection of Questions Booklet be sent to them by courier. Please note that an additional fee applies to candidates who request the use of a courier.
