Minimum Entry Requirements
Students need to have completed Year 10 or the equivalent in order to study the SYLF Standard or SYLF Advanced.
Adults interested in studying the SYLF also need to have completed Year 10 or its equivalent.
There are no other entry requirements for SYLF Standard or Advanced Levels.
How long does the SYLF take to complete?
Students who undertake the SYLF full time (at either Standard or Advanced Level) after completion of Year 10 usually normally complete the course at the end of Year 12.
Students can take longer than two years if they are studying part time, or if they need an extended period to meet the required standard for any particular subject.
